OGHA 2027: Hon. Babatunde Tella Emerges as Consensus Candidate for Abeokuta North

In a decisive move to strengthen party unity ahead of the forthcoming elections, stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abeokuta North Local Government have officially adopted Hon. Dr. Babatunde Tella as their consensus candidate.

The resolution was reached on Tuesday during a high-level stakeholders’ meeting that brought together the State Governor, key party leaders, and influential grassroots mobilizers.

The unanimous endorsement is widely regarded as a strategic step to consolidate internal cohesion and present a united front for the party in the 2027 elections.

The meeting was graced by prominent political figures from the Local Government, including Alh. Yemi Adelani, State APC Organizing Secretary; Alhaja Faidat Sarumi Akintunde, APC Chairman, Abeokuta North Local Government; Alhaji Bakai Okedara; Princess Ojaronke Ogunremi; Hon. Abib Ajayi; and Engr. Taiwo Oludotun- the Commissioner for Forestry among others.

Their collective support underscores a growing confidence in Hon. Tella’s leadership and his commitment to effective representation and grassroots development.
