NAF Releases Shortlisted Candidates for BMTC 46/2025, Announces Interview Dates

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has published the names of candidates who successfully passed its 2025 Zonal General Aptitude Test, inviting them to proceed to the next phase of recruitment — the Selection Board Interview for the Basic Military Training Course (BMTC) 46/2025.
Global Mirror News gathered that the announcement was made in an official statement issued by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, on Wednesday April 15.
According to the statement, the list of successful candidates is now available on the Air Force’s official recruitment portal, while the Selection Board Interview is scheduled to take place at the Nigerian Air Force Base in Kaduna from April 27 to June 13, 2026.
The Air Force directed all shortlisted applicants to strictly adhere to their assigned batch schedules as published on the portal, warning that failure to report on the designated date would lead to automatic disqualification from the exercise.
The statement read in part that candidates who do not comply with their reporting dates “will forfeit the opportunity to participate in the Selection Board Interview,” underscoring the importance of discipline and punctuality in the recruitment process.
Furthermore, the Nigerian Air Force reiterated that the entire recruitment exercise is completely free of charge. It strongly cautioned candidates against making any form of payment at any stage, advising them to remain vigilant against fraudsters.
This development follows the Zonal General Aptitude Test conducted on December 5, 2025, across 15 Air Force bases nationwide. The exercise attracted over 20,000 applicants and was held in key locations including Sokoto, Minna, Kaduna, Kano, Bauchi, Maiduguri, Yola, Makurdi, Jos, Ilorin, Ipetu-Ijesa, Enugu, Benin, Port Harcourt, and Ikeja.
At the time, Air Commodore Ejodame emphasized that the recruitment process was anchored on fairness, transparency, and strict adherence to merit. He noted that the aptitude test remains a critical screening stage designed to select the most qualified candidates.
He added that maintaining high personnel standards is essential to the operational effectiveness of the force and its ability to fulfill its constitutional responsibilities.
