Woman Loses Sanity After Friend’s Mysterious Death

A wave of reactions has followed reports that a Nigerian woman, identified as Rose, allegedly lost her sanity after reportedly confessing to the killing of her friend, Mngusuur Gloria Pever, in a case that continues to stir debate online.

Global Mirror News gathered that the claim was first made public by the deceased’s brother, Gabriel Pever, who linked Rose’s current mental state to an alleged confession over the circumstances surrounding his sister’s death.

Gloria Pever, said to be a native of Benue State, reportedly died on Valentine’s Day in 2024. While details surrounding her death remain unclear, family members have long suspected foul play, with allegations that she may have been poisoned.

In a social media post dated April 30, 2026, Gabriel expressed emotional relief, suggesting that justice had taken its course. He claimed the accused had confessed and was now mentally unstable, describing the development as an act of divine intervention rather than human retaliation.

The post has since attracted widespread attention, with several individuals claiming prior knowledge of the relationship between the two women. Among them, Jimmy Ahula alleged he had repeatedly warned Gloria to distance herself from Rose but was ignored.

He further described Rose as manipulative and claimed there had been signs of troubling behavior in the past. According to him, recent developments were a form of consequences catching up with her actions.

Despite the growing online narrative, there has been no official confirmation from law enforcement authorities regarding the alleged confession, the cause of Gloria’s death, or the reported condition of Rose.

Global Mirror News understands that the case remains unverified, with many of the claims circulating primarily through social media accounts and personal testimonies.
