Global Mirror News gathered that the project, supported by Nigerians in the diaspora for the benefit of Civil Servants in Ogun State and families, is being executed through a strategic partnership with the Ogun State Progressive Cooperative Investment and Credit Society (Progressive Cooperative), reflecting a shared commitment to improving the welfare of workers and extending quality healthcare to the wider Community.

Located along Wasimi, Ijemo-Agbadu Road, Ake, Abeokuta, the state-of-the-art Pharmacy is expected to become a trusted Healthcare destination where residents can obtain genuine medications, professional pharmaceutical counselling, wellness products and other essential healthcare services.

The initiative is being championed by Quadri Wasiu, Chief Executive Officer and The President of Ogun State Progressive Cooperative Investment and Credit Society, whose administration has continued to promote sustainable investments aimed at improving the welfare and wellbeing of Civil Servants and Cooperative members.

The Pharmacy will operate under the professional leadership of Pharmacist Akinsete Akintunde Charles, Director of Pharmacy, who will oversee the delivery of quality pharmaceutical care, medication management and other healthcare services in line with best professional standards.

The official launch will be performed by Engr. Olanike Morenike Ogunbona, Permanent Secretary, Ogun State Local Government Service Commission and Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (FNSE), who will serve as the Special Guest of Honour and Launcher.

According to the management, the commissioning signifies more than the opening of a pharmacy. Members of the Progressive Cooperative, healthcare professionals, business partners, friends and members of the public have been invited to witness the historic event scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the pharmacy premises on Wasimi, Ijemo–Agbadu Road, Ake, Abeokuta.
