ODOGBOLU LOCAL GOVERNMENT CHAIRMAN, HON. DR. BABATUNDE OYETOLA DIYA, CELEBRATES GOV. DAPO ABIODUN @ 66, HAILS THREE YEARS OF REMARKABLE DEVELOPMENT, PROGRESSIVE LEADERSHIP
The Executive Chairman of Odogbolu Local Government, Hon. Dr. Babatunde Oyetola Diya, has joined eminent personalities, political leaders, and the good people of Ogun State in celebrating the Executive Governor of Ogun State, His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, on the occasion of his 66th Birthday Anniversary.
Hon. Dr. Diya described Governor Dapo Abiodun as an exceptional leader, visionary administrator, and committed statesman whose purposeful governance has continued to reposition Ogun State for sustainable growth and development.
The Chairman particularly commended the Governor for the remarkable achievements recorded within the last three years of his administration, noting that the State has witnessed unprecedented progress in infrastructural development, economic transformation, education, healthcare delivery, youth empowerment, and rural development under the “Building Our Future Together” agenda.
According to Hon. (Dr.) Diya, Governor Abiodun’s progressive leadership style, dedication to good governance, humility, and passion for the welfare of the people have earned him widespread admiration and support across Ogun State and beyond.
He further stated that the Governor’s administration has brought renewed hope and visible transformation to all sectors of the State economy, thereby improving the standard of living of the people and strengthening public confidence in governance.
“As Your Excellency celebrates your 66th birthday today, we honour your selfless service, unwavering commitment to the development of Ogun State, and your immense contributions to nation-building.
“On behalf of the Executive and Legislative Arms, Management, staff, Traditional Rulers and the good people of Odogbolu Local Government, I pray that Almighty God grants you more wisdom, sound health, strength, and many more fruitful years in service to Ogun State and Nigeria,” the Chairman stated.
Hon. Dr. Babatunde Oyetola Diya also reaffirmed the unwavering support and loyalty of the people of Odogbolu Local Government to the administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun and expressed confidence in the continued progress and prosperity of Ogun State under his leadership.
We also expressed confidence in the Governor’s future political aspirations, stating that the sons and daughters of Odogbolu Local Government remain committed to supporting him wholeheartedly in the 2027 general elections, particularly in his anticipated bid for the Senate seat in the Red Chamber.
