Police Officer’s Son Lynched After Beheading Brother in Ondo?

A gruesome incident has shaken the Odigbo Community in Ondo State, Nigeria, after a 26-year-old man, Daniel, allegedly beheaded his 15-year-old brother, Emmanuel. The suspect, who is the son of a respected Police Officer, was later lynched by angry locals.

According to eyewitnesses, the siblings were seen together in a playful mood before the incident, which occurred near the Origbara River on Monday evening. It is alleged that Daniel lured Emmanuel to the river and beheaded him.

The Community was thrown into chaos when the incident was discovered, and Daniel was subsequently lynched by the locals. He died in the hospital due to severe injuries sustained during the mob action.

The Ondo State Police Command has confirmed the incident and ordered an immediate investigation. The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID) for further investigation. The Police have assured the public that no stone will be left unturned in bringing justice to the family.

The Community is still reeling from the shock of the incident, with many questioning what could have driven Daniel to commit such a heinous act. The father of the suspects, a respected police officer, is yet to comment on the incident.
