Ogun LG Service Commission Mourns Death of Ogun Waterside HOLGA, Monsuru Odusoga
The Ogun State Local Government Service Commission has expressed profound sorrow over the passing of Mr. Monsuru Odusoga, the Head of Local Government Administration (HOLGA), Ogun Waterside Local Government, describing his death as a significant loss to the Local Government Service in Ogun State.
In a condolence message jointly signed by the Chairman of the Commission, Ms. Olivia Olubukunola Onabanjo, and the Permanent Secretary, Engr. Olanike Ogunbona, FNSE, the Commission extended heartfelt sympathies to the Odusoga family and the entire staff of Ogun Waterside Local Government.
The statement described Mr. Odusoga as a dedicated and disciplined Administrator whose leadership was marked by integrity, diligence, and genuine concern for both his colleagues and the people of Ogun Waterside.
“Mr. Odusoga was not only a capable Administrator but also a dependable colleague and mentor. His leadership combined professionalism with compassion, and he consistently prioritized the welfare of the Local Government and its people,” the Commission said.

The statement further highlighted that Mr. Odusoga, who had embraced Christianity, lived a life of faith, humility, and service, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism, moral integrity, and inspiration for all who worked with him.
Ms. Onabanjo and Engr. Ogunbona prayed that the Lord grant him eternal rest and a place in God’s kingdom, and also asked God to grant his family, friends, and colleagues the strength and fortitude to bear the painful loss.
