Obafemi Owode Local Government Set to Unveil Key Infrastructure Projects

The Obafemi Owode Local Government in Ogun State is set to commission several completed projects on Monday, June 30, 2025. The event, scheduled to take place at various locations within the Local Government Area, is expected to be attended by State Delegates, Party Leaders, Royal Fathers, and other Stakeholders.
Projects to be Commissioned
– Motorized Borehole: A motorized borehole will be commissioned at Derupatan Village, Ajebo Ward, at 9 am, aimed at improving access to clean water for residents.
– Shopping Mall: A Shopping Mall will be commissioned in Magboro Town at 11 am, expected to boost economic activities and provide a modern shopping environment.
– Classrooms: Two blocks of 10 Classrooms with Offices, Stores, and Toilets will be commissioned at 12 noon, enhancing the learning environment for students in the Area.
– Ogidan Asphalt Road: Phase 1 of the Ogidan Asphalt Road, Owode-Egba, will be commissioned at 2 pm, improving transportation infrastructure and connectivity.
– Legislative Chamber: The newly rehabilitated Legislative Chamber at the Local Government Secretariat will be commissioned at 3 pm, providing a modern and conducive environment for lawmakers.
A reception will be held at the Local Government Secretariat at 4 pm to welcome guests and stakeholders. The event is a testament to the Local Government’s commitment to development and community engagement.
