NYSC Launches Strategic Remobilisation Portal for Absconded Corps Members

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially opened its 2025 Batch ‘C’ Remobilisation Portal to allow Nigerian graduates who previously absconded from their service year to regularise their National Service Status.

The portal will be accessible from December 16 to December 23, 2025, according to a statement issued by NYSC management on Monday, published across the scheme’s official social media channels.

Under the remobilisation exercise, absconded corps members who left their service year early can now reapply to complete the mandatory one‑year National Service Programme.

However, NYSC has mandated that applicants who received monthly allowances during their initial service must refund the funds through the official NYSC dashboard before they can be considered for remobilisation.

The scheme also clarified that those who previously registered during the 2025 Batch ‘B’ remobilisation exercise but failed to complete documentation in their remobilisation State must reapply during the Batch ‘C’ window to be eligible.

NYSC management urged eligible applicants to take strict note of the posting dates, adhere to the guidelines provided, and refrain from submitting applications outside the remobilisation timeline, as late submissions will not be entertained.

The announcement comes amid heightened National attention on the NYSC mobilisation processes for the 2025 service year, which saw online registration for Batch ‘C’ prospective corps members begin on November 4 and close on November 9, 2025, following earlier extensions to registration deadlines due to technical issues.

NYSC’s remobilisation programme provides a second chance for graduates committed to fulfilling their civic duties and ensures the integrity and completeness of National Service records across Nigeria.
