NYSC Batch C Orientation Kicks Off November 19

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2025 Batch C orientation exercise will commence on Wednesday, November 19, across all designated orientation camps in Nigeria.

According to a statement by the Scheme’s Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, registration at the camps will run from November 19 to midnight of November 21, while the swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for Friday, November 21, 2025. The closing ceremony will take place on Tuesday, December 9, 2025.

The Director-General of the Scheme, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, urged all prospective corps members to travel safely and avoid night journeys. He wished them a smooth and successful service year as they prepare to commence the mandatory National Service.

The NYSC also confirmed via its official social media platforms that call-up numbers for the Batch C prospective corps members have been released, with allocations made in the order of registration.

However, the Scheme disclosed that due to limited camp capacity across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, only about 40 percent of registered corps members will be accommodated for this orientation exercise, while the remainder will be deferred to the next batch.

Prospective corps members are advised to confirm their call-up numbers, report promptly to their assigned camps, and adhere to all safety and travel guidelines.
