The results showcase a remarkable improvement in candidate performance and enrolment figures.

“You will agree with me that in today’s 21st-century world, the need for comprehensive TVET is highly crucial,” Dr. Mohammed stated.
The 2025 results reveal a significant increase in enrolment, with 92,875 candidates registering for the examinations, representing a 37.08% increase compared to 67,751 candidates in 2024.
This surge in enrolment underscores the growing importance of technical education in Nigeria.
The results also show impressive pass rates, with 61,104 candidates (68.18%) scoring five credits and above, including English Language and Mathematics.
Furthermore, 74,633 candidates (83.28%) obtained five credits and above with or without English and Mathematics.
Candidates performed exceptionally well in key subjects, with a 94.60% pass rate in Mathematics and a 93.10% pass rate in English Language.
These results demonstrate a strong foundation in core skills, essential for success in technical and vocational fields.
NABTEB’s efforts to curb examination malpractice have shown positive results, with a decline in the number of cases reported.
While 435 candidates were involved in 516 cases of malpractice, this represents a reduction compared to 349 candidates and 524 cases in 2024.
As the NABTEB results highlight the importance of technical education, the board is gearing up for the 2025 November/December examinations.
Registration has commenced, and prospective candidates can access the NABTEB portal or visit any State or Zonal Office to obtain guidelines for registration.
The improved performance and increased enrolment in NABTEB’s examinations underscore the growing recognition of technical education’s value in Nigeria.
As the Country continues to prioritize skills development, NABTEB’s efforts will play a vital role in shaping the Nation’s Technical and Vocational Landscape.
