Lecturer Collapses, Dies While Teaching in Classroom

A tragic incident has struck the academic community of Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja, as a lecturer reportedly collapsed and died while delivering a lecture to students.
Global Mirror News gathered that the deceased, identified as Mr. Anslem Ojodomo, was teaching in class when he suddenly slumped, throwing students into confusion and panic.
Eyewitness accounts revealed that the lecturer had been actively addressing students before he abruptly stopped and fell. Concerned students immediately raised the alarm and rushed to assist him before he was taken to a nearby hospital for urgent medical attention.
Despite efforts by medical personnel to revive him, he was later confirmed dead, leaving both students and staff in shock.
Sources within the institution disclosed that the incident occurred during a classroom session on Thursday, intensifying grief across the polytechnic community. The late Ojodomo was said to be well-regarded among colleagues and students.
His sudden death has also raised concerns within the institution, coming barely weeks after another lecturer reportedly passed away, heightening anxiety among staff and students.
As of the time of filing this report, the management of Kogi State Polytechnic had yet to release an official statement regarding the incident.
