Imeko-Afon LG Chairman Inaugurates 50 Senior Political Assistants to Governor

In a significant move to strengthen Community engagement and inclusive governance, the Chairman of Imeko-Afon Local Government, Hon. Theophilus Aremu Olorode, has inaugurated 50 Senior Political Assistants to the Governor, drawn from all ten Wards of the Local Government.

The inauguration ceremony, which held on Wednesday, 8th September, 2025, was attended by executive members, notable elders, and leaders from across the ten wards.

In his speech, Chairman Olorode emphasized the importance of collaborative governance and the value of diverse perspectives in decision-making.

According to him, the appointment is a testament to the administration’s commitment to ensuring that every voice is heard and every perspective is considered in the decision-making process.
