Hon. Balogun Celebrates Mama Victoria Olaitan Abiodun at 90

…Describes her as a rare gem and pillar of grace

The Executive Chairman of Abeokuta South Local Government, Hon. Olaniyi Afeez Balogun, has felicitated Mama Victoria Olaitan Abiodun, the beloved mother of the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, on the occasion of her 90th birthday, celebrated today, Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

In a goodwill message personally signed by the Chairman, Hon. Balogun described Mama Victoria Abiodun as “a virtuous woman, a rare gem, and a pillar of strength whose life of discipline, faith, and service continues to inspire generations.”

He noted that attaining 90 years in sound health is a divine blessing that calls for gratitude and celebration, adding that Mama Abiodun’s remarkable contributions to humanity and her unwavering support in raising a distinguished son who has continued to impact Ogun State and Nigeria at large are worthy of commendation.

“Mama’s life is a shining example of humility, love, and godliness. Her legacy of moral uprightness and dedication to community development has left indelible footprints in the sands of time,” Hon. Balogun said.

Balogun prayed that God continues to strengthen Mama Victoria Abiodun with good health, peace, and joy, even as she enjoys the fruit of her labour surrounded by family, friends, and well-wishers.

He further joined the First Family of Ogun State, indigenes of Iperu-Remo, and all citizens of the State in celebrating the nonagenarian, describing the occasion as “a celebration of grace, longevity, and impactful living.”

“On behalf of the good people of Abeokuta South Local Government, I heartily congratulate Mama on this landmark celebration and pray that her remaining years be filled with divine favour and fulfillment,” he concluded.
