Good Friday Drama Turns Tragic as Student Playing Jesus Is Hospitalised

Global Mirror News gathered that the student, identified as Dennis Zziwa, was taking part in a “Way of the Cross” reenactment organised at Our Lady of Africa Church when the incident occurred.
Zziwa, who was acting the role of Jesus Christ, reportedly suffered injuries during the realistic procession, which involved him carrying a wooden cross and being struck as part of the performance.
He was immediately attended to by responders from the Uganda Red Cross before being taken to Lamone Health Centre in Luzira for further treatment.
According to Global Mirror News, the student is currently in stable condition and receiving medical care after the incident.
