Family Remembers Deaconess Fayomi, Five Years On

The family of Deaconess Susana Akpan-Udok Fayomi, fondly called Iya Olopa, has paid glowing tribute to her memory, five years after she peacefully departed this world.

Deaconess Fayomi, who slept in the Lord on October 3, 2020, and was laid to rest on October 4, 2020, is remembered by her children, grandchildren, and loved ones as a woman of deep faith, kindness, and compassion.

In their message of remembrance, the family described her as more than a mother and grandmother, noting that she was a “pillar of faith, strength, and devotion” whose prayers and guidance continue to shape their lives.

“Though we miss her smile and gentle words, we rejoice in the assurance that she rests in the bosom of the Lord. Her memory is a blessing, her impact everlasting,” the family stated.

They further expressed gratitude to God for the life she lived, celebrating her legacy of unwavering devotion to God and family.

Deaconess Fayomi’s Husband, Children and Grandchildren affirmed that her love, kindness, and spiritual strength remain an inspiration, adding that they look forward to reuniting with her in eternal glory.
