Eid-el-Fitr: Prince Oriola Adeyemi Felicitates Muslim Faithful, Calls For Community Development In Ijebuland

Prince Olawale Oriola Adeyemi, a son of the soil and direct descendant of the Obalenfa royal family of Ijebu-Ode, has congratulated Muslim faithful in Ijebuland on the celebration of Eid-el-Fitr, marking the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a goodwill message released to commemorate the occasion, Prince Adeyemi described Eid-el-Fitr as a period of gratitude, compassion, and renewed commitment to peaceful coexistence and community development.
He encouraged Muslims to sustain the virtues of discipline, generosity, and devotion cultivated during the 30-day fasting period.
According to him, the lessons of Ramadan should inspire collective efforts toward building stronger communities, promoting harmony, and advancing sustainable development across Ijebuland and the nation at large.
He noted that meaningful progress begins at the grassroots level, emphasizing the importance of unity, mutual respect, and shared responsibility in fostering growth within local communities.
“Eid-el-Fitr reminds us of the values of sacrifice, patience, and kindness. These virtues are essential not only in our personal lives but also in our collective pursuit of development and prosperity for our communities,” he said.
Prince Adeyemi further urged indigenes of Ijebuland and Nigerians at large to embrace peaceful collaboration and contribute positively to initiatives that promote education, youth empowerment, cultural preservation, and economic advancement.
He described the celebration as a season of spiritual renewal and hope, encouraging citizens to extend love and support to the less privileged while strengthening bonds of brotherhood and social harmony.
“I rejoice with our Muslim brothers and sisters on witnessing another Eid-el-Fitr celebration. May the blessings of this sacred season inspire renewed commitment to service, compassion, and the growth of our land,” he added.
Prince Adeyemi concluded by calling on individuals, traditional institutions, community leaders, and youths to work collectively toward building a peaceful, progressive, and prosperous Ijebuland that contributes meaningfully to national development.
