Comrade Adebayo Adefesobi Oluomo Felicitates Muslim Faithfuls on Eid-el-Kabir

The President of  Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) Ogun State Chapter Comrade Adefesobi Adebayo extends his felicitations to all Muslim faithfuls in the Union on the occasion of the 2025 Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.

My dear Comrades, I am elated to greet you on the second Eid-el-Kabir celebrations since my assumption of office as the President of our great Union in the State. It is my heartfelt prayer that the Almighty Allah will keep all of us to witness more celebrations.

Comrade Adefesobi noting the sacredness of Eid-el-Kabir, enjoins all Muslim faithfuls and all NULGE members to imbibe the attitudes of generosity, engage in charity, and demonstrate values of compassion, humility, and gratitude to Almighty Allah.

As we celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir this year, I wish to admonish all of us to reflect on the good things that Almighty Allah has done for us and how His good deeds have impacted our relationships with fellow human beings. I admonish you, Dear Comrades, to see this sacred celebration as another opportunity to move closer to God and seek to satisfy His ordinances laid down in the Holy scriptures for all humanity to live a godly life and acceptable worship before Allah.

Comrade Oluomo assures that under the leadership entrusted to him by Allah, he will continue to pursue programs and agendas that would give the Union a positive image, enhance the service and protect the rights and welfare of members in the State.

He urges our Muslim Ummah and all NULGE members to use the benefits of this period to pray to God for more wisdom, strength and more successes for the leadership at the State and Local branch levels and for good health and safety for all our members. He also wants to implore our members to pray to Almighty Allah for His intervention in our country in these trying times.

He wishes all our Muslim comrades a joy-filled and spiritually fulfilling Eid-el-Kabir and pray further that Almighty Allah accept your sacrifices, grant your prayers and bless you abundantly in all endeavors in this life and Hereafter.

Eid Mubarak! Taqabbalallahu minna wa minkum. May Allah accept our worship and sacrifices.
