Childhood Friend Kills Man During Edo Housewarming Celebration

A shocking act of violence was reported in Oben Community, Edo State, as 43-year-old Amadin Williams allegedly murdered his childhood friend, Eghosa Osas, during a housewarming party.

The Edo State Police Command confirmed the arrest of Williams, who will be charged to court once investigations are concluded, according to Police Public Relations Officer, Eno Ikoedem.

Sources revealed that Osas had recently returned from abroad with his family to celebrate Christmas.

During the party, the victim reportedly stepped away to relieve himself, at which point Williams allegedly cornered him and inflicted a fatal machete cut to his neck.
Ikoedem stated, “The report of the murder of Eghosa is true.

The suspect, Amadin Williams, believed to be his childhood friend, is currently in custody.

Investigation is ongoing, and the suspect will be charged to court as soon as the investigation concludes.”

The case was reported to police by the victim’s elder brother, who acted swiftly after the incident.
