Amb. Ogunsola Intervenes in Land Grabbing Crisis in Eredo Community

The Executive Chairman of Obafemi Owode Local Government, Amb. Adesina ‘Lanre Ogunsola, FCPA, has taken swift action to address the recent land grabbing crisis in Eredo Community. The crisis, which led to scuffles and threatened to cause mayhem in the Area, prompted Ogunsola to set up a Committee of enquiry to investigate the root cause of the issue.
The Local Government Boss summoned the Baale, Chief Rasak Amujara, and other Leaders in the Community to the Local Government Secretariat in Owode-Egba to find a lasting solution to the crisis.
Amb. Ogunsola also charged the Nigerian Police Force, Area Command Owode Egba Division, and other Security Agencies to arrest and charge to Court any individual or group disrupting peace in the community.
The State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun CON, has warned against fomenting trouble on land-related matters, emphasizing that the State Government reserves the Authorization of all lands in Ogun State.
The Council Boss therefore appealed to the good people of Eredo Community and its environs to maintain peace and tranquility, assuring them that the Local Government is on top of the situation.
